Twitter in Sports
Twitter has taking over the sports world in good cases and bad cases. For the good following users such as different ESPN analysis you can get live news updates from your favorite sports first.
Other great ....... that Twitter has effects with in the sports community is having fan voting for special events. The NBA uses fan voting for there All Star Game, They will have the fans vote for who they fell should deserved in playing in the All Star game. Also They are able to vote on who they feel should win In the NBA Dunk Contest. This voting system does have its ups and downs because there can be fans out there who might not like a certain player and not vote for him even if he deserves to be in the All Star Game.
<------------ For this twitter feed I wanted to show how the NBA used twitter for there fan voting for the NBA dunk contest. Although as you scroll down the feed you notice the same picture that Kobe Bryant tweeted while he was at the dunk contest. Kobe Hashtag the #spriteslam to let everyone who was watching what shoes he was wearing. With Kobe doing that it led to all of his followers to retweet his photo and it spammed the #spriteslam
